Dr. Michelle Panté (Owner/DVM)

Dr. Michelle Panté has been a practicing veterinarian since receiving her veterinary degree in 2011 from Oklahoma State University. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Rutgers University in 2006. She purchased Raintree Veterinary Hospital in 2024. Dr. Panté enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but often finds herself drawn to internal medicine and geriatric palliative care. She encourages preventive medicine and finds value in working with families to provide the best care for their pets. She lives on a farm in Millstone and enjoys spending time outside of work with her family. Her hobbies include fishing, gardening, and horseback riding. Her furry family includes two dogs, two cats, and two horses. A turtle and some chickens also consider themselves part of the family too. It probably won’t be long before her 2 young kids convince her to bring more animals into their lives.

Outside of work, she spends her time with her husband, Carmine, two dogs - Asher and Lucy, and her cat - Ellie. In the summer she can be found jet skiing or relaxing on the beach. In the fall she watches a whole lot of football. Her and her husband love to travel, eat at new restaurants, and hangout by the fire pit with their friends and family. Meet Our Resident Housecats:

Felix and Thomas,

Both are rescue cats who watch over our practice to ensure all pets are treated with the utmost care. You will most likely find them assisting the receptionists up front, or occasionally patrolling the waiting room or treatment area.

In Loving Memory of Dr. Dana Schoelen

Dr. Dana Schoelen founded Raintree Veterinary Hospital in 1998.  Born in Tulsa to a family of medical practitioners, Dr. Schoelen always knew he wanted to be a Veterinarian. Dr. Schoelen received an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and earned his DVM degree from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dana was a strong, down to earth and open minded individual. His smile was contagious and he brought joy to every room he entered. He was a compassionate veterinarian, loving father, brother, husband and was courteous to all. Dana was a handy man and fixed any problem that came across, his courage and determination was not like any other. He was admired by many.

He will be dearly missed, and forever remembered.
